I FINALLY went to the Edison for happy hour and I'm in love with it!!

Edison's happy hour runs Monday - Friday from 5-7pm and consists of the drink of the day for $1.00 (limit one) and any well drink for 40%. At first I was a bit discouraged because if I'm going to the Edison, I definitely don't want a Rum and Coke. But after talking with the bartender, he explained how several of their specialty cocktails are available for happy hour but will just be made with well liquor. Hmm... interesting. So after my friend, Christopher, and I had our drink of the day (a Moscow Mule), we decided to perform a taste test. I ordered cocktails that aren't available with well liquor, and Christopher had their specialty cocktails that are available with well liquor. Would there big a big difference??

Although Christopher's drinks were made with well liquor, they were still outstanding. Regularly, these cocktails are $13, but with the discount they were $7.80. So the next time I go, I will definitely be ordering up the cocktails available for the 40% off. Now which cocktails are those??? There isn't a menu listing them, so just ask a bartender. Our bartender for the evening was Andrew, and he was MORE than helpful. He asked about what type of drinks we liked and recommended the perfect ones. So definitely don't be afraid to ask them. It's early enough in the day that it's not crowded, and all the bartenders are there to please. They definitely take pride in the concoctions they make.
